I will be Posting an video of the engine tick noise hopefully tomorrow! And if I could also catch my car releasing smoke I’ll take an video/ picture of it also!
So recently my 2013 SHO with 128K miles has started an ticking noice at idle and low rpm. Which is pretty loud/ annoying sounding outside the vehicle and I could also hear it in my vehicle. I’ve watched and researched multiple threads/ forums etc and watched an decent amount of videos, and to the research it sounds like an lifter issue. Iam due for an oil change and I hope that will relieve the sound from my engine.
Now the smoke coming from my exhaust is new! And Iam afraid it could be something major. It’s just white smoke but at idle parked and if it give it some RPM is really realeases a lot of smoke that smells burnt/ weird. This doesn’t happen all the time but at least once or twice an week. I do have an catch can mounted that I have not emptied, could this cause a lot of smoke if it’s full???
