Engine removal

What is the best way to remove the engine from a '90 with a MTX? It looks like it will not come out the top of the car as the engine will have to slide to the right 4 to 5 inches the clear the trans input shaft. If the 3.0 can be pulled with out droping the subframe please reply with the procedure or link as I'm pulling the 3.0 out today.

You could just pull the tranny with it. It comes out pretty easy that way. Just keep checking for missed connections as you lift it out.

If you pull the trans I guess the CV shafts are pulled from the trans?

Engine & tranny are best removed from UNDER the car (lift the car off the engine).
