engine oil or power steering oil?

the two most common upper front leaks are cam seals and power steering pump return hose leaks.

Ya im leaning toward valvecover gaskets, or the seals over the humps for the dual overhead cams. As stated above common leak spot.

Not being a wise guy.....the sho forum is the best resource. The Chilton manual is vague at best.

Someone may chime in with a manual I'm not aware of.

Welcome aboard, you've been infected with sho virus. I've been a carrier since 2000 haha.

You can find a used Helm's shop manual sometimes on ebay or I think you can purchase a new on from their website although I am not sure about pricing. I have purchased several from ebay over the years. There are some small differences between the model years but as long as you get one in the 89-95 you will be covered for most items. There is a large Taurus one and a smaller sho specific manual. There are many 1989 manuals for sale there currently. Helm not Haynes. also there are EVTM manuals for electrical and vacuum diagrams.

89 looks like this

Oil pressure sender on upper rear of block are know culprits. Also a clogged PCV system (including the throttle body passages) will cause leaks by causing the crankcase to be pressurized.
