i've noticed that my engine moves when i turn the steering wheel back and forth. my neighbor saw it moving as i was turning it. is that normal or could that be motor mounts issues? the car has 74K but i don't feel the engine hitting the hood when i drive and i haven't seen a polish spot on the intake.

If you are halfway decent with a wrench and can change say a radiator or do your brakes...then subframe bushings are cake. I would go to the classified section and look for Aluminum subframe bushings. run you 75 to 100 shipped to your door. Depending on the condition of your existing bolts and washers (which im gonna say are borderline, you can get the recall kits from the ford dealer for like 14 bucks or less.

One of the best mods I've done on my car, what a difference in handling! HUGE difference, and pretty cheap IMHO!
