engine has a knock

So I have a 2018 SHO with 65,000 miles . When I start the engine cold, you can hear a knocking. After I run a few minutes you cant hear it. I took it to a dealer, they said I need a new engine. This is my 5th Ford, I usually keep them for 200k. Another mechanic said its the drivechain knocking. Any ideas. I am going to call ford tomorrow. My warranty ran out at 60k.

If you can get a video of it and post it here, maybe someone on here has heard that knock before.

It could be the cam phasers. Try to start by holding gas pedal and brake pedal down for about 3 seconds while you crank the engine and see if the noise disappears.

Doing that will help get oil into the phasers.
