i ran the self eec test. i got quite confused quite a few times, but the few that i repeatedly got were:

176 Oxygen sensor not switching - system is or was lean Left or Front HO22SSS - Fuel control) engine off

136 (Oxygen sensor not switching/system lean Left or Front HO2S - Fuel control), engine running

538 (System did not receive "goose" test ) engine running

522 (Park/Neutral Position (PNP) or Clutch Pedal Position (CPP) circuit fault - PNP
Transmission MLP sensor out of range in park - Transmissions) engine running

Can anyone put these into english for me? is it saying im running lean or what? car runs fine. im goin to try to reset them and drive around a bit then check again later. see what i get then. theres prob more, but there was lots of random lights, but those were some that i wrote down numerous times, so im sure their ones i actually have. if someone could maybe better explain the lights to me. cause i had difficulty telling when one code ended and another started. thanks!

Don't know about the tranny code, but you have a bad O2 sensor. The front one. Replace it. I'd replace both while you are under there.

when you first turn on the car after the engine off test, tranny in neutral, and e brake on, start it, turn steering wheel 1/2 turn left and right, brake, press overdrive switch on and off.

goose test: you have to touch the gas pedal 1/4 way down after the idle settles to near 1000-900(after it finishes advancing timing, to see how things react), then it will spit out codes.

then when no codes are spit out for a while, (30 seconds or so), push the gas down 1/2 way for a sec. (starts the cylinder ballance test), the enigine will roughen 6 or more times, then it will spit out 1 digit # from 1-6 or 9 if all is good.
