I was working on a motor mount issue earlier today and I took the opportunity to give the swaybar a tug and see if it was nice and tight. It moved all over the place. Is it supposed to move around like that? I took off one endlink and noticed the bushings were totaled. I mean absolutely torn to pieces. The endlink seems to be in great shape. It is a solid steel unit which I presume is stock and it seems that one would almost have to deform the swaybar before ever breaking this component. The ball joints on the link move freely, even if they may be in need of a bit of grease. My question? Can one just replace the bushings? I have little interest in replacing the endlinks with inferior plastic or aluminum units. What is a good grease to hit the endlink ball joints with? I assume the tpr bushings could be had as a kit? Thanks for input/suggestions.

The Gen 3s have a collar forged onto the FSB on either side of the bushing. When replacing my OEM bar with a 24 mm bar I had to put some split collars on the bar at the bushings to keep it form sliding back and forth. The endlink would hit the strut without it and there was about 2" of slide to the bar if you forced it.
