Emblem Adhesive

Not really sure if this is the right section, but does anybody know what adhesive is best to use when putting an emblem back on?

Usually 3M double sided tape works well. I've used it in other cars and hast stayed on with no problems.

Glue will just make a mess. Use the 3M tape.

The 3M double side tape works great and can be found anywhere. However, I feel it is too thick. The factory tape is about half the thickness and looks MUCH better. I have still yet to find something readily available that compares to the factory tape.

Lol. I used ultra-black RTV on my trunklid Taurus emblem. Works, seals the holes at the same time. Cleans off better than glue.

+1 for black RTV. A very thin bead of it on the emblem back, press into place, hold for a few minutes, done! The emblems I put back on mine are rock solid a year later.
