At work... on phone support today.... currently trying to explain to a school administrator why we will no longer support their $80,000 editor.
them- "so, our warranty is no good now?"
me- "thats correct. when you asked us 3 months ago if you could install midi software, we told you it was not supported, it will cause substantial hardware conficts with your video hardware, and it WILL void your warranty."
them- "i don't remember you telling us that"
me- "i have a copy of the email we sent to you and your staff responding to you asking if you could install it. would you like me to forward it to you?"
them- "oh, i guess you did tell us."
me- "would you like to talk to a sales person about maintenance agreements?"
them- "i guess i should get a quote and tell the treasurer."

goodness... i am all about customer support, but my whole day has been like this.
thank goodness for sho forum

Talk radio ain't so bad....I got Sirius radio for Christmas and both times I've gone across the country with it, I was listening to stand-up comedy the whole way.

i went to work with my mom today and cheaned a $400,000 house. then came home and had the cable guy run new line from the house to the main pole. our channel 2 and 4 were greatly distorted and sometimes didnt work. had a headache so took tylenol, had dinner, and took a nap untill now. ive been on spring break this week. which doesnt make much diff since all i have is 2 classes anyway. im still kinda looking for work, but tryin to see if i can get some detail business started. might go to some of the dealers and see if they need detailers. or see if i can get a contract with a small dealership on doin thier cars as they get em in.

Yea when you started this post I was at work in the middle of redesigning a memory module brkt for the 08 Dodge Nitro=Dodge version of the Jeep Liberty. Now I just finished up in the barn having fun wirh motor mounts for the 89. When I dropped the frt SF to replace frt SFB the tranny mount fell apart. Like so

While trying to remove lower bolts the weld nut spun instead. So on the new mtg I welded em & Reinforced it, along with the frt mtg.

Back in Michigan ... again.
I spent the day changing jobs. Again. Although I'm definitely stepping up this time. Back to PCG Campbell, the place that hired me then cut my job. This time it's not a temp gig... full time salaried position in the crash parts division. Just got the official offer today

Bill... you've been busy! The reinforcing job looks good... got time to do that to one more front mount?? :boink:

Oh yeah... wanna make a trip (and a few bucks) to the west side in the next few weeks? I need someone with a car trailer :naughty:

thanx for the great weld job! And a helping hand! Tomorrow we'll finish parting out your ole 89! It has donated a few parts to my 89 project so they will live on. here is a pic I got of you.

And a before & after of the rear of the 89
