My EGR tube broke on the bottom close to the manifold. I could not find anybody selling this item, but I was wondering whether it is possible to weld the small tube together once I take it off.

Anyone with experience on this?

I don't have experience with welding the tube, but I have replaced one on a '92. If you can weld it, and still ave it do its job, GO FOR IT! A new tube for a '92 (which is steel braided, unlike those on athe newer ones) costs about $170! PLUS the cost of the valve.
Good luck!

Thanks for your reply Tony.

I was able to locate someone who sold a 1994 EGR Tube to me. It is currently in transit to my address via FedEx. "OldSho" offered his EGR Tube for a very excellent price. I am looking forward to the arrival of the part to be bolted on ASAP.

My car sounds terrible...like it has a huge hole in the muffler - hopefully not for long.

Take care.
