I RAN CODES AND AM STILL TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHATS GOING WROMG. THE CODES I GOT POINT TO THE EGR .
1. I HAVENT FOUND THE EGR OR THE SWITCH
1. WOULD A BAD EGR CAUSE PRESSURE IN THE CRANKCASE ENOUGH TO START A LEAK OUT THE FRONT CRANK SEAL.( SOMETIMES AFTER CERTAIN DRIVING CONDITIONS THE CAR HAS SH!$ HORSEPOWER AND AT STOPS OIL LEAKS ONTO THE CAT AND SMOKES)
2. WOULD A BAD EGR OR SWITCH CAUSE MY CAR NOT TO START BACK UP WHEN WARM. (THIS HAS HAPPENED A COUPLE OF TIMES , ALMOST COMPLETELY NOT KICKING OVER BUT HANGS OUT IN LIMBO AT ABOUT 500 RPMS.TODAY FOR INSTANCE WITH NO THROTTLE RESPONSE). SOMETIMES WHEN WARM IT LL GIVE ME SOME TROUBLE TO START .BUT YOU GOTTA WORK IT! SOMETHINGS WRONG.
3. WOULD A BAD EGR OR SWITCH CAUSE A LOSS IN HORSEPOWER.?

PLEASE IF ANY OF THIS MAKES ANY SENSE TO ANYONE GIVE ME SOME FEEDBACK

First quit yelling.

Im suprised your car would have an EGR valve as most MTXs with EGR were from California. It is located on the back right of your intake. It is like a disk. The EGR doesnt have anything to do with your crankcase. If the pipes to the EGR are clogged it will cause the car to shutter at times.

It seems like the valve cover seals might be bad. You might want to replace them if it is the case. It is quite easy to do so.

1. Post the code numbers.

2. Unless you have a CA car, you don't have EGR.

3. What switch are you referring to?

4. EGR system faults are unlikely to cause starting problems.

5. Crank seal leaks are very common. So are cam sela leaks. Either will cause the oil to drip onto the cats and make smoke.

6. Hard starting can be one of more of several things. More diagnostic work is needed.

i meant solenoid when i said switch. by the way i get oil leaks and smokes mostly when the car is under that shi!!y condition. so would any thing cause excessive pressure in the crankcase.

This would be clogged ports on the TB or just plain excessive blowby due to carboned up oil control rings. Auto-RX will help greatly here.

i have a shop manual, do you think i should take the throttle body off and clean it up a little. is it tricky. that blowby diagram is tough to swallow. and the letters and numbers posted next to the codes, what are they about.

There are three ports in the TB that at various times the PCV blowby is drawn through. Most of the time though it is from the small port immediately in front of the throttle plate on the inside and bottom of the TB. It wouldn't hurt to take the TB off and clean it all out.

The letters in front of the numbers are diagnostic routines in the Helm PCED manual for the GEN 1s.
