egr location

so im looking to do my new intake on my 93 mtx, but before i can order it i need to figure out if it has an egr or not. looking under the hood it doesnt appear to have one, but im probly wrong. any pictures or good description would be very helpful

93 should have egr. Look at the back of the intake. Should be able to see egr orifice on the rear exhaust manifold too.

^ It's an MTX, so it'll only have EGR if it was originally a California car.

As stated, look at the back of the intake on the drivers side. There are a few bosses there that will be occupied if it has EGR. Blank bosses = non-EGR.

are we talking about the 2 little ears coming off the far side of the intake? near the throttle body?

Yes. A non egr car will have them, but there will be no holes drilled.

or you could always look at the emission lable and see if it says california or federal emissions
