I ran the KOEO test and I got the EGR codes 331 & 332. 331 isn't on the list of codes, so I'm wondering if anyone knows what this means. I know what 332 is and I checked to make sure the EGR was hooked up correctly. I've only had the new valve for 20,000 miles, does anyone think it's possible for it to have gone bad in that short amount of time? Thanks!

have you checked the tubes to the egr press. feedback sensor.its mounted on the back intake plenum facing the firewall, it has an aluminum or zinc die cast body.pull it off and check the tubes were the rubber tubes hook up.if its full of a white residue its probably toast.my 95atx had its press.feedback sensor go at 80k.

Usually, receiving a non-existent code indicates a code-reading-procedure error. In that event I would recommend re-running your codes rather than chasing down problems that might not exist due to the bad read.

In my signature there are three links to various resources for reading your codes which might help you refine your code reading procedure enough to get the correct reading.

SHOooo, thanks for the heads up, as you can see though i allready have those links :D

as it turns out i read the codes correct but misread my own handwriting. the codes flashed 111 for systems check ok, and i wrote it as "III" using hashmarks, then it flashed it again so i repeated it and then the single "I" between codes, and i mistakenly read it as "III III I" or 331. ah well, learn something every day, but it turns out the culprit was as SHOinNC had mentioned, but i had failed to connect the tubes on the pressure sensor when i put the intake back on the other day. i thought i had, but maybe i just didnt put the crimps up high enough. oh well. thanks guys!
