So the other day I noticed something weird with the SHO. Usually, the fan would turn on at the M in normal, but every once in a blue, it wouldn't kick on until the N, which sorta worried me. It was intermittant, but it would do it regardless. At first I thought the sender was off, but I checked the connection and the sender, and it was ok. So I decided to replace the ECT sensor to see what would happen. Yeah, I know, it's never good to throw parts at a problem, but I figured this was more of an educated guess than anything.

Now, something else it was doing was performing inconsistently. In this, I mean that sometimes it would run like a scared dog, and sometimes it would run like a not-so-scared dog. The best way to describe it would be that the throttle wasn't terribly responsive, and at higher speeds, the engine made more noise than power.

Changing the ECT fixed all of that. I didn't come to that conclusion 5 minutes after I changed the sensor, this is like 4 days on now, and the performance is consistent, which it wasn't a few days ago. Two birds with one stone? I'll take it! :thumb:

Just thought I'd share, that's all.
