Has anyone seen the coil sets on ebay that are selling for cheap? I have seen a set of 8 coils for $89.95 that were located in Hong Kong, and I have seen other sets of 8 for $199.99, and $220.65.
How are these prices so low? I guess you get what you pay for.

Has anyone bought cheaply priced coils off of ebay lately, and if so are they any good?

$90 for a set of 8? Never saw those. Most of us have bought the ones that are $220ish. Comes from a guy up in Canada if it's the same guy.

All I can say is that those are a great deal and have 8 running my car.

Yeah.. I was wondering about the ones from Hong Kong as well.. (thinking about buying some...).

They have some that you can buy singles for $17.99.. I might buy one and try it out and let you all know.

i purchased the set of 8 shipped for 89.95. cost me total of $100. I only had issue with one coil in that the plug end that the harness plugs into. I didnt notice it till after I had things back together. They seem to look like the Motorcraft ones I took out. Also I actually got 10 coils too so have one spare. I was suprised too that the plugs were replaced, but with regular 764 Autolite plugs, without any never seize on the threads. SO I will update if i have any trouble in the coming months since all 8 are replaced.

Who did you get them from, Brian? Mine are the ones that came with the car about 190K ago, and though they are still working fine, I am considering giving the old girl a new set for her 200K birthday. :)

the ones from i think ABC parts or something in Florida are out of stock. I dont know why they keep posting them on e-bay, but i ordered a set and they sent an e-mail 3 days later saying they didnt have any.

Yes got them from exclusiveparts on ebay. Need to get one replaced since the coil end that the harness plugs onto is deformed. Other than that so far so good.
