E85 on SHO motor....who's done it?

If you want to convert to an alt. fuel,go with CNG if you have stations in your area.


I would love to do this....especially if I could do the Tweecer chip and still be able to run gasoline if need.

A couple of 20 Gasoline gallon equivalent tanks in the trunk would give it crazy range.

Do you have any clue how you could convert it?

We were talking about this in the turbo performance area of the forum. injectors, fuel pump, tune, oil, make sure lines are E85 "safe". I would bump up the compression ratio if you were only going to be running E85, with no turbo helps with the power loss from gas to e85. Also your 60ks are now going to include seal checks, also oil changes are going to need to be more frequent; E85 for some reason always works its way into the oil.

blowby. All engines have it. Some gas ends up in your oil.
