E85 Fuel?

I wasn't quite sure where to post this quesion, so I'll try it here. I was wondering if our SHOs were capable of burning E85 ethanol fuel? They always say not to use this fuel unless you've consulted your dealer first. Are they just covering themselves against all of the idiots out there, or can you really not burn it is a regular fuel injected car?

Our cars were designed to run on up to 10% ethanol. Not sure what a 15% mix might result in.

Isn't E85 intended for use in the FFV versions of many passenger cars?
