I just replaced rotors and pads all around, in addition to calipers in the rear because I hadn't had an e-brake in a while (calipers seized). Finally get the e-brake working (what a convenience boink ) and the e-brake works great for my uses (I dont live in San Fran w/ rolling hills or anything, but I need to use it for minor slants & slopes once in a while) but I recently tried to park in my friends driveway and it was a good 30-40 degree slope...engaged the e-brake...and started to get out of the car...but the car started rolling, so I had to park more towards the bottom of the slope to prevent my car from rolling away. Does this mean my e-brake cable isn't tight enough, or is parking on those kind of slopes just out of the question for an MTX with stock brake parts?
Thanx,

You need to re-adjust the ebrake cable. There shouldn't be any problem parking the car on that type of slope. Leave the car in 1st gear while on the hill. You should be all set after doing those things.
