I am going to dyno the 98 SHO tommorow with the new ported intake manifold. Any suggestions, or good practices with the v8 SHO before or while on the dyno?

Video 3erd Pull
You may notice the Torque Converter is not locking from what I can tell. Been having issues with that and p1744, so we will be looking at a transmission in the near future more than likely...
SHO is held in 2nd untill 70 mph. 14 sec video time --> (WOT/Trans shifted to 3erd with O/D off) <---Begin 3erd gear 1:1 pull. Listen for the change in engine tune at 70 MPH and the click into "D"

The Dyno Graph. All three runs are on the first picture. The third and weakest run is hanging down there at the bottom. The SHO seems to follow the list groups trend on v8 SHO.com, Second run pulling the hardest. Torque Converter is not working during these dynos. Corrected hp at wheels for strongest run is roughly 219 whp. Dyno runs complete at 6450 rpm.

Un-corrected numbers/single strongest run...

Dyno looking kinda choppy there. Why the drop near the 5873 rpm mark? I'm guessing that was when the TC was giving you a problem? Good numbers though as the normal fwhp was below 200 ponies. :thumb:

I guess its the way the data is presented in the first graph. I believe there are ways to smooth out the data points and refine the image. We didnt spend anytime trying to do that.

As far as the dip? I dunno...Maybe it was attempt for the converter to lock. It locks at lower speeds, just not at WOT anymore. Or timing was pulled out. I dont have any A/F numbers, so I have know idea where the fuel is at on this car. I dont even know what the computer commands at that rpm from the factory...?
