Can you set the secondaries to run all the time?:thankyou: and if so how?

yes. actually the secondaries are spring loaded to be open. the engine vacuum closes them when the engine starts. simply unplug the vacuum lines to the actuators and plug the hoses.

be sure to report back on how much "faster" the bottom end of the rpm range becomes.

there's a plug on the back of your intake near the firewall...just unplug that and enjoy the noise and lack of pickup.

Do you think you're smarter than Yamaha's engineers? Why would they design the intake with secondaries if they didn't do any good?

Do not unplug your secondaries, there is absolutely nothing to gain from it, and you will certainly lose tq below 4000rpm.

But no, you will lose low-end power. That I can guarantee.

just curious is all. sounded cool with the intake i have but power loss was noticable.
