I was trying to get the camshaft position sensor out to swap it and damn if I didn't drop the screw. I'm still searching for it but I'm not especially hopeful. Is this something I'm going to be able to replace from Autozone and the like (or even the hardware store) or am i going to need go to the boneyard to find an equivalent one?

I thought the new sensor came with new screws? If not just take the other screw to a hardware store and match it up. Shouldn't be too hard.

You're screwed!

Yeah, thanks. More like my sensor ISN'T screwed. :)

It doesn't seem like the sort of screw that Lowes and the like normally stock but I might be able to match the threads. If only the nearest Lowes wasn't a half hour away.

Okay, Auto Zone, Advanced and O'Reilly all didn't have the screws. I was able to find the same thread size and length at Advance but they didn't have the washer. In the end I ended up going to Tractor Supply and getting a pack of M4-.7 x 20mm screws and M4 washers to go with them. Cost a total of $1.77. They have a 7mm hex head.

So if anyone else drops the screw while changing their CMPS, there you go.
