Ok...I've done the Intrax / Tokico swap...Aluminum SFBs...and the car came with those plastic HD Endlinks. However, the steering wheel has a little bit of play in it near the center...and the drivers side wheel, when I grab it at 9 and 3 and try to wiggle it from side to side, has play also. About an inch or more of play to be exact, if I do the same test on the passenger side it doesn't move at ALL....so I tried replacing the outer tie rod end...nothing changed....

any help?

If you want to be 100% sure that it's a bad wheel bearing, remove the brakes and pull out on the hub. If it moves, the bearing is bad. If you rotate the hub and its not silent, the bearing is bad. If it passes these tests, look at your tie rods (inners/outers)

I think that you have a bad wheel bearing too.

What if in addition to failing the quick 9-3 wiggle test, there is a bumping sound while driving and only when foot is on the gas, while turning the wheel slightly to the right?

What if, after asking for advice 9 days ago, you suffered a catastrophic failure while on the road? Get under there and check things out man. Having a tie rod fail while driving down the highway will end you. Take it to a reputable shop if you have to.
