got Zex?
Ok, what type of possible damage could you do from say driving on a rim for a couple hundred feet or so? Snow covered roads. Haven't had a chance to look at the rim really... after lying in the snow throwing the spare on I wasn't much in the mood to really do much with the car. Not to mention the spare was almost flat, and had to limp a few miles to fill it up.
There's a definite grinding type of noise, and I seemed to notice it mostly when going very slowly (taking off from a stop, or slowing down to one). And also with the wheel turned slightly either direction. I'm thinking the wheel bearing is toast. Anything else that might have been damaged? CV Joint?
Thanks for any suggestions. At least I got it home before we got 2 feet of snow tonight. Can't wait to go to work tomorrow.
Oh yeah and the car slipped of the stupid jack and pinched the nitrous line while I was putting the spare on in the snow. Not sure if it's a goner, I'll have to look at another time. Enough bad stuff for one day...
