Drag radials?

Anybody running drag radials with any success? What size if so. Seems like there would be much benefit over a zr rated tire because u really can't heat them up. My tires have a ton of life left but gave up the grip and I'm trying to avoid buying a new set. I live in South Carolina so using them as winter tires does t make sense

Drag radials, on the front, should help out a lot. I'd say, drive it to the track and they should be plenty warm by then.
