Thanks for the info, if I can get time tomorrow, I'll call LMS to have a chat with them. I'm okay with swapping out the catless with the stock once a year, I just need to know two things. (1) will I burn out my O2 sensors (2) how many drive cycles does it take to clear any logs/indicators and how long does that take... in other words, once I replace the stock, how long do I have to dive it before I can take it in for inspection?

My experience. Custom exhaust, downpipes back, resonator delete. Magnaflow mufflers. No Lms downpipes. Local shop did it. Blew the 02 sensor and Pcm. Ford warranty luckily covered it. Just got her back today. From what ive read here, its a risk. Some have it happen, some dont. LMS can weigh in but i think a tune might keep it from happening again. But then again it might be a sales pitch...hehe..tongue in cheek.

Question did the muffler shop unhook the battery. If they didn't, good possibility they hurt the O2 sensors and the PCM, your the first that I know of to blow the PCM.

It can happen, but if they didn't disconnect the battery, there could of been a voltage spike from the MIG welder when they welded the exhaust. Just a hunch.

I have no clue. I asked them about 02. They said they didnt get near it. As far as PCM, i blame gremlins. Lol

Good point and I didn't even think about current running up the pipes and across the electrical... If they didn't disconnect the battery ground, I bet that could have caused that issue? The statement that they didn't go anywhere near the sensors, tells me they may have not thinked about disconnecting the battery (since you wouldn't need to go near anything if you energizer metal anywhere on the car)... I'm also assuming they use a welder also, most likely.

Good thing to remember regardless if that caused his issues or not.
