i drove to atlanta and picked up my car this morning from Doug at FPS. Doug is one of a finest people and gifted mechanics i've dealt with. i toured the facility and got to hang with Doug- his shop and staff are top notch. i literally had a hard time leaving. if i lived within two hours i would drive often just to bench race and check out his projects. i had the complete 60K done, brakes, and suspension. the car is a blast to drive with the Eibachs and KYBs. i'm anxious to go back for this NOS dry kit i have sitting next to me along with a tune and some other goodies. :thumb::thumb: :thankyou:

Good for you then. My experience is different. 89 SHO that developed a clutch problem after replacing the clutch cable. It had a horrible chatter in reverse so I called FPS up one day and made an appointment. Took it there and he spots the bushing missing off the cable that attaches to the top of the transaxle case right away. He even TELLS me it's missing. So instead of getting one off of the 10 parts cars he has outside, he insists on replacing the clutch. Needless to say, it didn't fix the problem because he didn't replace the bushing on the cable. It even did it on the test drive he took it on but since it was getting late, it really didn't matter. Out almost $800.00 bucks and had to find my own bushing.

Thanks but no thanks. Maybe he cleaned his act up but for me, that episode cost him a lifetime customer.
