couple days ago i noticed the door had a little play in it and somebody told me it needs a new door pin. the door slightly droops down and was off so much that i opened the door and it grabbed the rear door trim and bent it up.
is this true? common problem? what part do i need and where do i get it? or is this guy a retard?

the openeing and closing of a 50 pound door since 199x which is probably about 20,000 times. It's much more common on 2 door coupes since they have even heavier doors than their 4 door brethren.

new door pins will make it close a lot better but the hinge hole could also be out of round too which will give it some play Ive had to weld and re drill a hing on my s10 i had.
