Door ajar light on

Hey guys, i have had the door ajar light on the dash come on everyonce in a while and the interior lights wont shut off, now today the light wont shut off and the interior lights wont shut off even when the cars off, i have checked all doors and all of them are shut. what do i need to replace or what is a quick fix cause i dont want to be stuck at work cause the car wont start, or get up and not be able to go to work. thanks.

carefully spray electrical contact cleaner in the door llatch mechanism then open and close the door a few times. You may need to repeat.

Try the driver's door first, then work your way through the other doors.

WHen you fix the problem, make sure you spray a little WD40 or lithium grease back in the latch.

i just had that problem with my car today, i check the drivers side door and a rubber seal popped out of the car frame that runs between the door and the frame. it's where the wires run from the door to the car. I set it back in place and it fixed it.
Where its been colder where i live, i think the rubber got a little stiffer and pulled out.
