Do you need fix Alignment after you install the 24 and 26mm sway bars?

Ok i was wondering this tonight. Cause i have every thing i need to replace my sway bars with my 24mm and 26mm sway bars. And i got the TPR bushings to put in there. Would i need to get the sho's alignment fixed after the sway bars put in or not??? O and does any body no if there is TPR Front sway bar bushings? Cause i know i didn't get that in the group buy. But i'm pretty sure TPR doesn't make a front sway bar bushing.

I was getting bored this week cause i ran out of stuff to do to the sho. And i was like **** i can intstall the sway bars. But i would need a press for the rest of the bushings on the sho right?

ok, to answer your questions, if you kink the subframe when you remove the 2 rear bolts, you will probably need an alignment, because you can change all aspects of it (camber, caster, and toe). Also, TPR bushings are just heavy duty moog bushings (check Josh's P/N's on all bushings, and you'll see they're moog numbers). AFAIK, there are no TPR front swaybar bushings, usually a poly bushing is used instead. Energy suspension makes a bushing for our front, it's about $13 at summit racing. You'll want to look up the P/N on energy's website, and search by P/N on summit.

What do u mean by kinking the subframe? I was just going to jack it up and use jack stands, At the points where it says to jack the sho in the rear. Please let me know about this kinking......

in the front, to normally get to the front swaybar you will pull out the rear bolts on the subframe, let it hang, and replace the bar that way. Sometimes the frame can shift.

O and i just went to Energy suspension web site and i couldn't find the part number for the 24mm front sway bar bushing. If any body has that number could you please pass it on to me.

Go to Josh's site. He has the 24mm sway bar bushings in urethane. They come with the grease fitting and the metal brackets. They are only like $25.

Hmm. What sway bars are on there now? 24/26 w/poly bushings is nice and safe but plows quite a bit, at least on MTXs (not sure if having more weight on the front would make you want a bigger bar or smaller bar to get the same balance). You might want to consider a 22mm bar with the bushings.

I was never happy with my 24/26 combo, even with rubber bushings on the front and solid plastic bushings on the back. 20.6/26 w/poly is about right.

ES #9-5160 is the 24mm Universal fit poly front set.

If you want to grease them while they are still in the car, you will need to replace the zerk with a 90 degree one. Josh has already done that trick on the ones he sells.

I also came up empty on TPR bushings for the front. Supposedly, there are graphite-impregnated poly bushings available from http://www.p-s-t.com/ but I have no personal experience with them.

O SHONUT!!! LOL the shop were i got my bushings at.. Ok thanks for the help. But the web site shows that the 24mm front sway bar bushings with grease fitting is out of stock...... Is that true? or is the site just not updated..

Did you get your bushings from the group buy or what? Cause if you did u should have gotten the HD endlinks... But if u didn't go through the group buy I would reckmend getting the HD links.

You might just put the 26mm bar on. I have the 24/ 26 combo on my 95' and I think I am going to switch out the 24 for a 21 to give it a little more oversteer.
