How many miles are there on the tranny (between fluid changes)?

Usually between 80k and 100k there should be a change if I remember correctly.

Since being a user of this forum and gone through 3 transmissions myself between 3 Taurii... better sooner than later with changing fluid. Changing the fluid isn't going to hurt it, and based on what I've seen, it will prolong your transmission greatly (especially your Torque Converter).

Hopefully some other people will chime in and agree.

I would definately do a complete flush. Doing a filter and gasket kit you only get about 7qts. of fliud out and I believe it holds about 15 qts. I was working on a 94 ATX a few months ago and I replaced the crank sensor for a friend and I checked all her fluids and they were garbage, especially the transmission. I told her to bring it back and do a filter kit. Well she said it was shifting fine and she would bring it back in a week ir two. Three weeks later she was on her way to my garage to have it done and the transmission shit the bed.
