Lost the keys to my 95. Had to drill out the ignition cylinder to replace it with a new one. I couldnt get the cylinder out so I kept drilling a little deeper until I was able to twist it out. Only problem is I think I drilled so far that the little round "wedge that goes deep into the steering column separated from the cylinder and now it is stuck in the column.

WTF do I do now? My car needs to be out of the car port ASAP. It was supposed to be gone yesterday but I was stuck doing other things that prevented me from fixing the car.

For a better idea of what is stuck, it is the "peg" on the far left of this pic:

If you pull the ignition switch off, you should be able to stick a small screwdriver in the part that gets actuated by the cylinder and move it to the run position so that you can remove that chunk. That's assuming you can't get it into the run position just with a screwdriver. Once it's in run, you should be able to pull that out with a magnet or similar.
