Deck won't come out!

Hey guys/gals?

I bought the DIN removers from Wal-Mart and can get the coin/cup tray out, but can't get the deck out. I can get the removers in far enough on one side, but the other??

I'm afraid I'm gonna pull the face off of the deck.. any suggestions?

The DIN holes are a big pain in the ass, since they need to be lined up just right. It took me a few (dozen) times to get my stock deck out. Unless you really muscle around on the stereo, you shouldn't break the face off. I had a '93 Crown Vic with the same stock radio and one of my friends sat on the radio (don't ask). He weighed probably close to 350, and only cracked it, so they're pretty durable.

Just to save everyone some money, Two 6 in pieces of wire hanger bent in a U shape will do the same thing to remove the stereo.
