This is meant as a warning so that others don't get scammed like I did.

Last year I responded to an email on the SHOtimes list from Tom McDonough who was advertising various SHO parts for sale. After a few emails I sent him a money order in the amount of $200 for a ported intake manifold. Needless to say I have never received the manifold and even though he promised to return my money he has yet to do so. I didn't want to post this for several reasons, first being that I'm sure spreading this around will lessen my chances of ever seeing either the manifold or my money. Second being that I'm basically a nice person and try every avenue to resolve problems rather than post public messages about them.

I have been in contact with my local police department who have told me that they will be in contact the police in Lincoln, Nebraska (where Tom lives and where I sent the money to) and they WILL make every reasonable attempt to recover my money and prosecute Tom for Theft by Deception. Like I said, I never wanted things to have to go this far but let's face it. $200 is $200 no matter how you look at it.

Tom, If you read this PLEASE CONTACT ME and if the money is returned I will withdraw charges on my end. However, I have no control over how your local police department handles things if they have been contacted by my police department.

Also, If anyone has ANY information about Tom other than what I post below, please contact me so that I can get this resolved as soon as possible.

His information that I have so far is:

Please don't get scammed by this dirtbag like I have.

The only person I have a beef with here is Tom. He sold it to me, he collected the money and he is the one that has to either come up with the manifold by whatever means or refund my money

Actually, RI-SHO or his bitch little brother stole that manifold from me while I was at boot camp. I was supposed to be porting the manifold for Tom, who never told me that he sold it while in my posession. He contacted me when I got back to ask and I told him it was stolen, so Tom must've hid, or been too poor to refund the $200. As I told Jim thru email, if Tom gave me any money I would have been more than happy to send it on to him, or if I had any intakes at all, I'd port one and send it to him. So yes, Tom has the money, but Edien has the stolen merchandise.

here we go again...

Edien and his brother have nothign to do with the transaction at hand. It is the sellers responsability to get the buyer either an intake, or a refund. The seller can go after Edien and his brother, but the buyer in this case is taking the option he has and that is against the seller.

That's the part that really gripes me. He never told ME that he didn't have physical possesion of the manifold until after I had sent him the money. Had I known that, I wouldn't have sent him the money until he had it in his grubby little fist.

I really suspect that he's broke and trying to hide from that fact, since he sent me another manifold as payment for the first. I was only going to charge $100 for the service also, plus shipping both ways. Which he said he couldn't afford...

Ok heres how i feel on the matter.

Edien and Enson really have nothing to do with this whole transaction. So lets leave them out of it.

My other question, why the **** do people by performance parts when they are broke? It doesn't make sense, especially owning a SHO, they should be saving the few pennies they have for when something breaks.

Erik, this matter is seperate from yours and the Ibanez brothers, so lets leave it at that. We don't need another forum feud.

When there's a tracking number and it leaves the town and then goes nowhere, I'd say that is the postal service's fault, esp when it was deemed their fault by their own investigative services. When you stop being a ****** feel free to offer constructive criticism. But that's right, I forgot you're too busy breaking stuff, and repeatedly losing your license. This man would have an intake, had it not been STOLEN. As said in the above posts by me, if the bitch brothers, I mean ibanez brothers returned the items they stole (2 intakes from Tom M, 2 intakes of my friend Sean, a pair of heads that belonged to the same friend, a 3.0 oil pan, my nitrous bottle heater, the short nitrous bottle bracket, 1 96 brake upgrade caliper bracket, numerous other little parts.) I could begin to finish the work for this man.
