Hmm. Now I'm wondering if my memory of what initially happened occurred . Pretty certain I loaded it from my car to the device .

When u recieved your tuner in the mail u had to plug itnto the car to get them the strategy code then email LMS and tell them if u already have any mods done on the car , and what kind of tunes u want. The stock tune they get from the strategy code. 1 will be the stock tune, then 4 others of different octane u like. There should be a number on the back of your device LMS will know what tunes go with that device also. They use that to send customers updates on tunes.

SCT devices pull the stock tune from the car when you first hook it up and attempt to install the tune.
