I found this mount for a dash cam on Amazon that will work on our mirrors. Got tired of the suction cup falling off. I replaced the wing nuts with standard nuts as a reviewer mentioned so I could use a 1/4" socket to get to them to tighten them. The space is very limited but it will work. I used an extension from the accessories kit to get the cam far enough away from the mirror. Links below.

Pretty slick! I have a magnetic mount that came with my Garmin dash cam and it tucks it away a little better so I don't see the cam. That is a nice alternative though!

That's cool. I have a Thinkware dashcam and it came with a double sided tape mount.

What/where do you attach the mag mount to?

Did you guys hard wire into the sunroof/dome lights or run all the way to the fuse box?

I hard wired into the fuse box under the dash on the driver's side and it was rather simple. I think I used the horn as my constant source and the windows as my power up source. Main thing is the fuse cover won't go back on, but that's a non-issue.

I initially tried wiring it to one of the wires behind the map lights but best I remember the sunroof then either would not work or behaved strangely. Wound up wiring it to the fuse panel under the hood.

There's a fuse box in the glove box?
