Cutting the Moog CC

To cut the front springs I cut off the top, right? Cause the guy that is putting the springs together with the struts says that if he cuts it off the top its not gonna sit right in the strut mount. He says it will wear funny and destroy the mount. Any help? Pics?

yes, cut the top of front struts. The top is where the softer 'dead' coils are...if you cut the other end, it'll settlein too low...like mine did on the rear...

once the springs and struts are compressed, it'll have no ill-effect on the strut mount.
