any new info on a group buy for a gear set??? cant we get a local machine shop to make just a "third" gear seeing as though this seems the be that gear that a lot of people blow?? how much could one gear cost? 400-1000 at most?? I think if its not killer expensive and a group buy keeps the cost down... im game for a 3rd gear or a whole set if its not insaine expensive...

I dont think the gear is the issue. Its the input shaft that flexes and shears the teeth.

SHONut did have the gear set already made. A lot of the cost comes from the engineering and materials. Also Josh explained that most of the cost is in the 3rd gear and the shaft. Once that is done the rest of gears are not much more.

What would it take to get a HD gear set?
