This is giving me nuts. I wanted to take apart the throttle body to spray some CRC intake valve cleaner in there and I can’t seem to get this thing off. I loosened the silver metal band and it’s still synched on there for some reason. Anyone run into this and/or know what to do? Smfh. 744741c3385d73c5799fb80866f455b2

Sinch it back down and introduce the crc at the vacuum line next to your hand in the pics

lol, and which one is the vacuum line? I’m game for that if it’ll work and it’s okay to do that? Otherwise I was just gonna ask ford to help me since I have an oil change today.

To loosen a stuck hose, insert a 90 degree pick between the hose and coupler and slide it around the joint to loosen the bond.

First picture the 90* fitting is a good point to put it in if you are no worried about the throttle blade. The pick is also a very good method. If you go there though, you will need a spray tube like the SeaFoam intake spray has that is a u-shape and can be clamped back together.
