Crank Pulley Vibration

2011 SHO, 85k miles. I feel a slight vibration at idle in Park. When I look at the crank pulley, it has a wobble to it as if it is a bit out of balance. The other accessory pulleys are smooth, no wobble. The belt tensioner is stable, not jumpy. Thanks.

Are all the other pulleys in alignment? I have the older cars, is this the same in a 2 piece config with rubber in between? If so, it might have slipped a little.

Thanks for reply. Belt and pulleys are aligned. No belt wear. I do not know if harmonic balancer (pulley) is 2 piece - but would make sense it is from your post.

There is a thin rubber line separating the outer ring with the inner. Like he stated, you may have broke the rubber and the two are separated now. I have not heard of that happening though.

Thanks. I'll get under the car this weekend to check. The vibration and wobble on the harmonic balancer/crank pulley is more prominent when a.c. compressor runs. The tensioner and a.c. pulley are quiet and do not vibrate or wobble.

Everything is suspect in the belt path until it gets ruled out. Really though, the thing should not wobble.
