Ok, this isn't exactly on a SHO, but I thought I might get the most help here. This could be helpful information for a SHO owner as well. My sister hit a curb a few years ago in her ****** with aftermarket enkei rims. The dent in the rim hadn't broken the bead, so she's driven it and it's been fine. Now a small crack has developed in the rim and the tire is bulged, so it really needs to be fixed. I've tried looking up places online, but I can't find anything close to me or her. If anyone has experience with a rim repairer in west Michigan area or Davenport, IA area I would greatly appreciate. Or if anyone has a place they've used that's further away that I could send it to that has decently quick turnaround time, that would be great too. Thanks.

PS, if this should be moved to another section, by all means, go ahead.

PPS, she told me she would send pictures. I'll post them if/when I get them.

Welp, I can't help you with the wheels, but I do congratulate you for using the correct PPS instead of the common(ly wrong) PSS! I suppose every little bit counts...

Being able to repair a crack depends a lot on exactly where the crack is. If it's at the base of a spoke it probably can't be repaired safely. A small crack at the edge away from a spoke shouldn't be a problem; I had a 1/2" crack on the lip of on one of my Cobra-R's welded a couple years ago (and had them powdercoated, which everyone says is evil) and it's held up fine over countless beatings on the road and track.

I found this on http://www.mobilewheelrepair.com/

Thanks. I don't remember it being at the base of a spoke, but I'm not entirely sure. Thanks for the website, that's one I didn't find in my search :thumb:
