could oil in plugwells cause high NOx?

or an overheating condition? i'm pretty sure it couldent do anything other than cause a stumble or cut a cylender out completely.. and foul plugs.

right?

well NOX is a product of burning more air then fuel....
that would be a good place to start from....

EDIT: ok.. this means the car is running lean... so.... the problem sounds like it is in either the fuel system, spark, or timing....
