Correct A/C clutch part # ??

Does anybody know the correct part number for an ac clutch on a 3.0 SHO? Thanks guys. :thumb:

The clutch is a common item and is available aftermarket from almost any parts store.

Make certain you get the one with the 4-ribbed pulley for the 3.0.

this clutch removal is driving stangeater any me crazy....we have tried everything possible and can't get the clutch to budge!!!! it acts like it's welded on there!!! piece of crap thing...and it's to tight to get a clutch puller in there! so any more suggestions.....and yes we removed the nut!!!

Well if you're looking for an AC Clutch I assume you now want to change it. You should follow the posted procedures to change the clutch which involves removing the alternator and un-bolting the compressor. Once unbolted you can tilt it up while leaving the hoses connected. You'll have plenty of room to use a puller.

I just changed my ac clutch and the pulley on a couple of aftermarket ac clutches just wouldn't fit over the compressor shaft. I ended up getting motorcraft units: YB 314A (Pulley); YB-289A (hub) and YB-367A (coil)
