Are the trophies given out to only certain registered cars or are they available to EVERYBODY that signed up for the convention? You can go to the tech session even if u arent staying there?olympic:
Tuesday morning is the car show. There will be judges and they give out trophys in a few different catagories.
The tech session is your chance to ask any SHO related questions or get advice on a problem you've been having with your car. Sorta like we do here on the forum.
Kirk, do you guys want to hook up wit us? It would be a nice two-day trip out there for you.SHODWN:
You mean there will be someone other than me this year?
Jim, Ill be seting up the NE caravan in a few weeks. Just need to nail down a few details, on who where picking up on the way out.
Alright thanks alot, I'm gettin my 60k done on June 18th,so...it'll be runnin like a champ come time for the convention!!olympic:
Pre-registering is almost a must. You may not be let into certain events if you just show up at the hotel without pre-registering.
Nothing really happens Monday except some registration stuff at the hotel. The majority of the people don't show up until Monday evening or even Tuesday morning. There will be a room at the hotel where the convention staff is setup. Just go there and they'll have all the info you'll need regarding the events, times, places, etc.
I've about got things set but I had not heard back from the SHOcago guy about the lunch spot, so I found one myself tha I'll run by him.SHODWN:
Ron, thats exactly what im thinking. from My house I can be in INDY in 12 hrs, some will meet here and then I plan on picking up alot out in NY. SO its doable, kind of a long first day but ah thats the fun. Just got an older guy in Tow and want to make sure he can keep up boink You know how slow those red cars can be![]()
Just print out the pre-registration form and the drivers information form(if you're entering the road course event), fill them out and mail them in with your payment. Shortly afterwards, you receive your information package in the mail.mosho93:
but i still have a couple more questions yet...now when i pre-register.....is it better/easier to do it on the phone or on the web? and after i pre-register, does he send me info saying that i DID pre-register?? THANKS ALOT...LONG LIVE THE SHO
