Hi,
I live in Sydney Australia and I am the proud owner of a 1996 DP Ford Taurus Ghia (right hand drive). It is not a SHO. It is a unique export model (to Australia) with the 3.0L V6 Duratec engine, leather seats, etc, and the Sable-style bug-eyes front head lights.
I would like to know if it is possible to convert my car to SHO specification, particularly for wheels/suspension and (later ... maybe) the 3.4L V8 engine.

yes, you could easily convert the 99 sho suspension to your car, as well as any year sho wheels. 96-98 suspension would be tougher, as it involves the semi active ride control computer, sensors, and expensive struts. Good luck on your project! And, do you have a handbrake or a foot e-brake?
