as soon as I planned to take my transmission out and replace the PP, the crank sensor started taking a shit on the way home..... 97 bucks later I got one, I notice a little oil leaking, hopefully I can get a seal on the spot and not special order it or I will be ******, I'm trying to have it running again by tomorrow night

I almost got the engine out tonight and gotta replace a chain tensioner, water pipe, Pressure plate, and check shim clearance, then she's going back together

but who knows what else I'll find when I get the timing covers off

Crank sensor failed? Are you sure? That sensor had 2k miles on it before you got it. And $97 seems a little steep.

That engine might have Fel-Pro cam seals, which might explain the oil leak. I don't remember what I used, and I'm not sure if I knew that the Fel-Pro ones don't fit right. You won't be able to get any SHO oil seal on the spot. I have a spare package of Fel-Pro cam seals, but that's about useless.

Damn Todd, I have like 3 spare used working crank sensors, I would have sent one to you or drove one down if it was imperative.

No big deal,that N2O kit has been sitting around for so long.
