For those not on any of the email lists, one of the activities planned for the convention week is a Duck Tour of Boston on Thursday 7/30 @ 10:00AM lasting 80-90 minutes with lunch at Cheers afterwards, and then some time to shop and/or do some sightseeing of some of the historic sites in Boston before heading back to the hotel for the banquet.

For those not familiar with a Duck Tour, more information can be found HERE. Basically, the tour takes place on a WWII-era military amphibious "Duck" boat/bus with a portion of the tour taking place on the Charles River.

The Duck Tour rates are as follows:

Adults = $28.75
Students / Seniors / Active Military = $26.45
Ages 3 to 11 = $21.85
Kids Under 3 = $6

(Please note that these rates are discounted from their standard rates since we will be renting an entire duck boat.)

If you're attending the convention and are interested in going on the Duck Tour, please send an email to Ken Mallinson at [email protected] as soon as possible.

Thanks!

I have not talked to one person who has ever taken these rides who did not love it...these things are usually booked solid, even in bad weather...

Did it in Seattle last year and it was awesome. Something I will do whenever I'm somewhere that has it if at all possible.

Chris, am I on the list? I talked to Kirk about ti but did not email Ken
Don't know. I'll get the list from Ken and check.

You send in your convention registration yet? I haven't seen your name on the list and have been meaning to call.

For anyone else interested, as of right now the duck boat is full. There may be a possibility of adding a second boat, so if you're interested still go ahead and send an email to Ken letting him know.
