I went to get a alignment camber is way off. they told me they cant do it because the control arm bushing are bad. how hard are they to replace and will the new ones bring the wheel back in? It has Intrax on it also. THEY STILL CHARGED ME THE ALIGNMENT FEE!!!! (not happy about that)!!!!!!!!

control arm bushings come in the control arm, so you will need to replace those. they are not particularly hard to do - less than an hour each (plus time fighting rust if necessary).

Its the front control arm. the ball joints in it are new. the car only has 70k miles on it. Y change the hole control arm? Its only 16 bucks for moog bushings.

If the ball joint is new, then so is the bushing. The control arm, ball joint, and bushing are all replaced as one unit.

I wonder if they really meant the strut rod bushings are bad.

Replace that control arm before you drill out your strut towers. As stated in your other thread, you really shouldn't have any camber issues unless your springs are significantly lower.

If the bushing is bad, I would bet that the ball joint is not far behind. That's what typically goes first.

replaced control arm!!! camber was still off so I drilled it out. I think its the intrax that are making it hard to get the camber right.

The intrax are a 3in drop I think and I had to drill quite a bit out to get it to align right. I only put on the front intrax the rears are still sitting in the garage. I don't think i am gonna put them on the back. It looks kinda cool with the front dropped (makes it look more aggressive).

The intrax could be causing the negative camber. Did you cut any coils? When you say you "Drilled" the strut towers, what did you mean? Usually you just break the welds on the plates and that gives you the needed adjustment. If that is not enough, you can either get adjustable strut mounts or slot the strut tower holes.

What is your camber at? YOu should be fine as long you are less than (toward zero of) -1.5*.
