Take out all of the screws?

-Remove the console lid first, 3 Philips head screws

-Remove the one screw in the cup holder in the center console (7mm)

-Carefully pull up on rear part of console top (the part with the cupholers/shifter bezel/ashtray) After you get the rear of it unclipped, lift up and pull back on it at the same time to get the top piece out. Put it in first gear to help with this.

-Disconnect cigarette lighter

-Remove the 2 7mm headed (they'll be gold in color) from the bottom of the armrest compartment. You may have a foam piece to pull out to see these.

-Remove the 1 7mm bolt in the center of the console, approximately under where the cup holder would be.

-Remove the 2 7mm bolts on each side of the center console at the very front of it, on the left and right sides.

-Pull console to the rear of the car and up to pull it out.

I've removed my console like 500 times and every damn time I forget to break the console down into 2 pieces to remove it. I usually tend to keep it in 1 piece and yank until I realize it wont move, then I remember and break it down ;)

When you break the console down into 2 pieces, open the arm rest compartment and the cup holder portion should snap right out. Careful not to force it though because you might break the small plastic clips.

The easy part's taking it off. The tricky part is putting it back in. I always have a **** of a time shoving the top portion back into the rest of the console. Usually requires a lot of hitting and cursing.
