computers the same 90-91 ???

I want to know if the part# is the same for a 90 engine computer and a 91? like the 92 xj2 and 93 xj2.

no the part # for a 90 is B9B1 & the # for a 91 is LOS but the good news is that they will work with each other ( 90 will work with a 91 and so on)

thanks Freqsho the reason i ask is i got a sho shop lpm programmed for a 90 off ebay and i think i must use a 90 computer to use it on my 92 i tryed to send it to ted b but he said it was an older model and i would have to send it to shoshop. it might be cheaper to find a 90 computer to put in my 92
btw-Ted was great about it i sent it to him and he tryed to program and when it didnt work he sent it back with his own money and didnt even attempt to charge me for his valuible time.

IIRC Ted didn't like to program chips for the '90 computer anyway. I think he experienced more problems with that model than any other. When I got a chip from him I changed to a L0S model to better accept a chip. L0S is not the optimal model just anything not B9B1.

Funny as my B9B1 from my "fleet" was the only box I could get my SCtuner board to work on correctly (had not tried the L0S).

I thought they were programmed for each different model. You mean these are tempermental as well? Has it been tried on an X2J?
