I may need a new dis module for my 90 SHO. The local pick your part has a 94 SHO, is the dis from that car compatable with mine?

mind if i ask why you think you need a new dis module? i'd check the ground strap on the back of the intake first, along with the two bolts that hold the crossover tube down and the bolts that secure the dis to the crossover. the DIS not getting a good ground path is more common than a failed DIS iteslf. FYI.

Heres the deal, I bought a 90 MTX with 90k miles, literally, 90001, for 200$!! Cars is absolutely mint, not a spot of rust, and not a mark in the interior. The car has sat for 8 years with what was thought to be a fuel problem. I buy it, get it home and see the fuel system is fine, the car is getting no spark. After MUCH research, i come to the conclusion that it is probably in need of the front 60k, and may need a crank position sensor. So I figured its got to be that, and if it isnt, then i'm sure the car needed it anyway. So I got it all apart, waiting for the parts for the 60k, and now im starting to wonder, maybe it isnt the crank sensor, and if not, what else could it be???? Now that i know they have a sho at the pick your part, Im wondering what else might be smart to change, or check that could cause this problem while i got it apart. Any help would be great.

pull codes on a dead car? tryed it, it didnt work, dont remember the codes, 21 and 24 maybe, ECT, and ACT, but since I could noit warm the car up as per instructions, and I know they will not cause me to have no spark, I wrote them off as just being a cold engine.
